How to restore the BillingTracker Pro data file from online backup:


First of all, back up your existing data file locally (e.g. somewhere on your hard disk that you can find again if necessary). Then follow these steps:

1. Go to Preferences > Online Backup.
2. Click on the 'Manage Files' button.
3. A new screen will open up. Click on the 'Connect' button.
4. Your system will connect with our online servers, and a list of the files that you back up will be displayed.
5. Highlight the file that you want to download. If it is the data file, highlight billingtrackerpro4.mdb, by clicking on it once.
6. Click on the 'Download button'.
7. Download it to your desktop, or another location on your computer that is easy to find. Do NOT download it to the directory where you installed BillingTracker Pro 4 (which for most users is c:\program files\BillingTracker Pro 4).
8. After it is downloaded you can 'Disconnect' and then close BillingTracker Pro.
9. Find the file you downloaded, and copy it into the directory where you installed BillingTracker Pro (e.g. c:\program files\BillingTracker Pro).
10. Launch BillingTracker Pro - you should see the data from the data file that you just downloaded.
