BillingTracker Pro is a billing and invoicing software for any small to mid-size business.
BillingTracker Pro is focused around clients and projects. You can include as many clients as you want and each client can include as many projects as you want. Each invoice can only pertain to one client at a time but multiple projects, although many users only create one project per client. You can even choose to rename ‘projects’ to better suit your firm’s terminology. For example, many attorneys use ‘matters’ instead of ‘projects’. It’s all up to you, this is complete accounting and invoicing software for all your business’s needs.
BillingTracker Pro keeps a complete log of your clients. Use the ‘Manage Clients’ screen to get a quick overview of each client. This screen shows a list of each of your clients. You can add new clients, edit existing ones or even delete them.
Click on the ‘Print Client Card’ button to print out the complete details of a given client. Another powerful feature on this screen is the ‘Show Closed Clients’ checkbox. When you have finished working with a given client, you can close that client. The client’s information will be retained, but not shown – it is a nice way to reduce the amount of clutter on your screen. Sometimes, however, a client comes back with new work for you. There is no reason to re-enter his details. Simply check on the ‘Show Closed Clients’ box, find that client, click on the ‘Edit’ button, and re-open the client. In just a few clicks you can re-add this client to the list of current clients, while retaining a clean look that is not filled with past business.
The ‘New/Edit Client’ screen allows you to enter as much, or as little, information as you want about the client. For example, you can enter up to two tax rates, if you need to charge for both state and federal taxes. If you sell goods, you can enter a special shipping address (different from the billing address) and even a special markup rate for this client when it’s different from the standard rate that you set in ‘Manage Materials’.
