purchase you can return the software within 30 days for any reason, for a
full refund.

We provide free email support during
your trial period and 30 days after purchase. If you would like to ensure
support after 30 days, then you can sign up for online
backup.
A monthly subscription to online backup gives you ongoing
email support, free upgrades for all new versions, free replacement registration code (unlock code), the right to re-download your version of the software (or the latest version), and of course the peace
of mind of knowing that your billing data is backed up to our secure
online servers.
Upgrades:

do I re-download an older version of BillingTracker?
Customers who have purchased BillingTracker
in the past 3 months can get a new registration code (an unlock code) and
instructions to re-download the software simply by writing to us via the Contact
Us page.

backup and you can get a new registration
code and and re-download your version of the software (or the latest
version) for as long as you are subscribed.

What
is the difference between BillingTracker Pro and BillingTracker Pro
Multi-User?
They are basically the same, except that
the multi-user version allows several users to share the same data file
and therefore work together on the same projects and clients.
When you first install
and launch BillingTracker Pro business accounting software, it will ask you if you want to run in
single or multi-user mode. To run in multi-user mode, you should install the BillingTracker
Multi-User Server first (also part of the same file you download). The
installation process walks you though every step.
The single and
multi-user versions have a different unlock code, so be sure to pick the
right one in the store when you decide
to buy.

Does
BillingTracker run with multiple users?
Yes!
BillingTracker Pro is designed for the single user, or for multiple users.
When you first install BillingTracker Pro small business accounting
software, it asks you whether you want to
run it as a single user or in a multiple user environment. Note that you
can easily switch from single to multiple user mode as your needs
change.
In order to
protect your company's data in multi-user mode, BillingTracker Pro runs
with the BillingTracker Multi-User Server. It is a small module that
regulates access to the data file and ensures that each employee is only
allowed to make changes according to his/her permission level.
When you are
ready to purchase, simply buy the number of seats that is equal to the
number of individuals that will be using the software. For example, if you
have 7 people in your office that will use BillingTracker Pro and the
BillingTracker Multi-User Server, purchase 7 seats.

What
is the BillingTracker Multi-User Server?
The
BillingTracker Multi-User Server is a small module (with a big name!) that
regulates access to your data file, when you are working in multi-user
mode - e.g. when several people in an office are sharing the same
accounting data. It works with BillingTracker Pro only - not BillingTracker
Standard.
You install the
server software, tell it where the data file is, and then add users. For
each user, you simply define the name, a password, and give that user
his/her permission level.
The server and
the data file can be on separate computers, the same computer, or even on
the same computer as one of the BillingTracker Pro users.
Permission
levels are very straightforward:
* Timekeeper - User can only ENTER and CHANGE/EDIT his own hours and ENTER his own expenses. User CANNOT view most screens, and thus has no ability to see the firm's finances.
* Basic - User can only ENTER his own work on his own projects only. Cannot work on other users' projects.
* Low - User can ENTER and CHANGE/EDIT his own work on his own projects only. Cannot work on other users' projects.
* Middle - User can ENTER, CHANGE/EDIT, and DELETE his own work on his own projects only. Cannot work on other users' projects.
* High - User can ENTER, CHANGE/EDIT, and DELETE his own work on his projects AND on other users' projects.
* All - User can ENTER, CHANGE/EDIT, and DELETE his own work AND the work of anyone else on any project.
Note:
BillingTracker Pro small business accounting software will not work in multi-user mode without the server.
When you start your computers each morning, simply turn on the server
first.

What is the difference between
the full (paid) version and the trial version free accounting software
download?
The BillingTracker Pro free trial
download is the same as the BillingTracker Pro paid
version, but is limited to a
trial period only.
The BillingTracker free business
accounting software trial download can be easily upgraded to the full (paid) version at any
time by entering a code in the register screen, which you receive via
email upon purchase.
Both
the trial and paid versions of BillingTracker will let you create an
invoice, to fully test the system from start to finish.
The free trial download of the BillingTracker
Multi-User Server is the same - it will work with all of its functionality
during the trial period. After that, you will need to enter an unlock code in the
register screen. The unlock code can be obtained by purchasing
BillingTracker Pro Multi-User.
