Cor Spiering and his partner run a small engineering services company, providing technical drawings for plumbing systems. Working out of their homes, they each generate invoices for their time on a project and use an Excel spreadsheet to log all the invoices. The spreadsheet goes back and forth between them and is continually updated - a system that allowed too many mistakes to creep in and then get copied from one spreadsheet to the next.
Easy to use, yet has the right features
They looked around for time billing software, and found that BillingTracker fit their needs. Spiering initially encountered some problems with importing existing data, which got solved quickly and painlessly. "The support has been superb," Spiering says. "When I encountered a problem I always received a personal answer the same day. If it took longer to solve I constantly got emails with the progress on the work."
